Monheimer Wohnen, the municipal project development company, is constructing three new residential buildings with a total of 31 unsubsidised residential units in the Israel and Frankreich districts of Baumberg along Europaallee. An additional two-level building will house a child daycare center for five groups of children.

All buildings will feature modern elevators. Two of the residential buildings will have three full floors plus a recessed floor, the other four full floors plus a recessed floor. The ground floor of the two-storey child daycare center will adjoin one of the two three-story residential buildings.

An underground car park underneath the residential buildings will provide parking spaces for 28 cars. Three additional spaces will be available for residents and five for the daycare center  above ground.

Monheimer Wohnen will offer the new apartments to tenants for lease; the units are not for sale. The child daycare center will be leased to the City of Monheim am Rhein via a long-term lease agreement. All the units are designed for barrier-free accessability.

The child daycare center for five groups of children is due to be completed by August 2022, the apartments, ranging between 62 and 114 square metres in size, are expected to be ready for occupancy in January 2023.
